I've left it on Normal since I don't know what it does but it seems it just puts a light crinkled paper pattern that's most visible with the shadows of the opening sequence. There's 3 filter settings: Light, Normal, and Heavy. One major difference is that you have a seriously wide view compared, but that's to be expected because: (I've played both versions on the same flat screen TV, 32"?) Also, the water splashing dome type pattern at the bottom of any waterfall is noticeably clear and crisp for sure. It's most noticeable when there's dozens of tiny multi-colored leaves flying around in the air. To me, it just looks a tad bit crisper and cleaner. I'm currently still in Shinsu Fields and just got the power bomb. Besides that, everything else seems they're in the same place. I can see the difference between HD and PS2 versions though there is some pixelation that I guess they neglected to enhance.
You could use the rock to boost up onto the wooden structure, but now there's no chest?
Just as you head towards town, there's a rock in front of a big wood thing. It's at the mid-point up the mountain where the guy plays the flute. There's a chest missing in Kamiki Villiage.
PS3 has no mini-game with the paw prints due to fast loading times though I've run into a few where it's repeated enough to at least get one demon fang. I've played through PS2 a few times and playing PS3 felt the exact same using a controller (I don't have Move). I haven't played the Wii version but I believe the credits were left out? If that's the case, then there's one tiny bit of the story afterwards that's also left out.
